Safety-critical embedded engineering that ships on time.
We help automotive Tier-1 suppliers and OEM R&D teams pass ISO 26262 audits, reach ASPICE Capability Level 3, and close cybersecurity gaps under ISO 21434 / UNECE R155 — without slowing the program. Delivery teams in Germany, Romania, India, and China.
Four practices. One delivery model.
Most of our work falls into four buckets. Each is led by senior engineers with at least one full safety-case lifecycle behind them — never first-time talent learning on your project.

ISO 26262 from item definition through tool qualification
HARA, FSC, TSC, FMEDA, DFA, hardware-software interface, safety case, confirmation review. ASIL-A through ASIL-D. We close the gap between what your safety manager wrote and what the auditor will actually find.
Read the FuSa practice
ISO/SAE 21434 + UNECE R155 ECU compliance
TARA, cybersecurity case, CSMS, monitoring & incident response. Built so audit overlap with your FuSa case is by design, not by accident.
Cybersecurity practice
Model-based + handwritten C/C++ for safety-critical ECUs
BMS, ADAS, EV controllers, steering. MISRA-clean code, automatic verification, HIL/SIL/MIL integration. Delivered by engineers who own the V-model end to end.
SW engineering practice
ISO 26262 & ASPICE training
On-site or remote. Tailored to your project, not a deck repeated by rote.

ASPICE & FuSa walkthrough
4-12 weeks before your scheduled assessment. We find the gaps; you fix them; you pass.
Walkthrough scope
TÜV / intacs preparation
For your engineers, FuSa engineer or intacs Provisional Assessor track. Pass-rate measured.
Certification routes
The standard isn’t the ceiling.
It’s the floor.
Anyone can quote ISO 26262 clauses. Far fewer can ship an ASIL-D ECU on a Tier-1 program with the safety case ready a week before the auditor walks in. We were built for the second one.
Who we are
Adrian Valea · Founder & GF
25 years building model-based safety for the auto industry.
Adrian Valea introduced Model-Based Development at Siemens-VDO in 2001 — before it was an industry default. At BTC Embedded Systems he co-built EmbeddedTester, EmbeddedSpecifier and EmbeddedValidator — the formal-methods toolchain used by Tier-1s worldwide. He founded STS in April 2020 to put that engineering rigor into a delivery team, not a slide deck.
“Anyone with the right methods, the right tools, and an eagerness to learn can build anything.”
Read the full storyDiagnostic first. Then delivery.
Most of our paid engagements start with a 30-minute walkthrough. You leave with a one-page diagnostic of where your safety case or ASPICE process stands against the standard — even if you don’t hire us.
Walkthrough call (30 min)
You describe the project, the standard you’re held to, and the next deadline. We listen and ask precise questions.
Written diagnostic (1 page)
Gap matrix mapped to the relevant clauses (e.g. ISO 26262-6 §9, ASPICE SWE.2 BP1-BP6). Sent within 48 hours.
Scoped engagement (fixed price or T&M)
If we’re a fit, you get a scope, a team, and a timeline. If not, you keep the diagnostic.
Delivery in your tools
DOORS, Polarion, Jama, Vector, dSPACE — we work in your stack. No tool migration, no shadow systems.
The actual clauses, not just the logo.
Every claim we make traces to a specific part & clause. These are the standards and frameworks we apply on a typical week.
